This is your arrival day. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. You'll be picked up at the airport and then escorted to the hotel. In the evening, you'll meet your travel companions and explore the Ben Thanh markets which offer the freshest traditional Bánh mì, Pho, and Bia hơi. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Today, you'll bid goodbye to the bustling city and head toward river life in the Mekong Delta. You'll get to sense the peace and serenity as you travel down the river on local sampans. This afternoon you'll spend time getting a serious learning fix by visiting a local tea garden and seeing the floating markets. You'll get to learn about local industries along the river and the way of life here as you meet some of the friendliest locals around. Overnight in the Mekong Delta.

After an early breakfast, you'll make your way back to Ho Chi Minh, detouring past the staggering 250-kilometres of tunnels. You'll get to witness the traps, hidden doors & some of the 250kms of tunnels that Vietnamese resistance fighters dug by hand today representing Vietnam's staggering past. Once you arrive in the city, you'll have some free time to explore the city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Today after the morning exploration, you'll have a short flight to a coastal town overlooking the South China Sea, Nha Trang. The town is filled with golden sand beaches, turquoise oceans, and water sports galore. You can book in for a mineral mud bath and hot thermal spring experience once you arrive at Nha Trang. In the evening, you'll head out to dinner with your crew. Overnight in Nha Trang.

This is a day for you to explore this beautiful town and enjoy. You can have a massage, sign up for the optional cruise, or just hang on the beach saving your energy all day. It is up to you how you want to spend the day. Overnight in Nha Trang.

This is the day you'll head to Hoi An from Nha Trang. Start the day with a guided tour through the Old Quarter, and fall deeply in love with this perfect spot. You can enjoy the Japanese Bridge, French Colonial vibes, and brightly coloured buildings during the tour. In the evening, you can choose an optional Vietnamese cooking class to learn more about Vietnamese cuisine and get your cooking skills formed. Overnight in Hoi An.

It is another exploration day as you'll be excursing to Hoi An today. You can visit the ruined Hindu temples of the Champa Empire on Marble Mountain, poke around in galleries & antique shops, and admire traditional methods of pottery, silk weaving, and wood-carving on display at the local markets. There is a lot to explore, and it is up to you how you want to spend the day. Overnight in Hoi An.

It is a brand new day and you'll head to another town for more exploration. The former imperial town of Hue is full of decorated pavilions, lotus flower ponds, and colourful artworks. You'll have your first sightseeing experience in Hue today. You also get to visit Tu Duc Mausoleum, a 7-story Thien Mu Pagoda as you learn about the horrific history of the Hue Buddhist massacre. You can also go for a cycle ride to see the city from an entirely fresh angle. Overnight in Hue.

Today you'll fly out of Hue and head in the direction of Vietnam's time capsule capital. After a short flight, you'll arrive in Hanoi and will be escorted to the hotel right in the middle of the bustling Old Quarter. You'll be spending the rest of the day exploring and weaving through a maze of 36 trading streets filled with colourful goods for sale, and unwinding in the walled gardens of the Temple of Literature. Also, roam around the French-style boulevards. Overnight in Hanoi.

After exploring Hanoi city and learning about its history, today is a day to move on to Halong Bay. A drive through stunning scenery will lead you to a Chinese-style junk boat in Halong Bay. On the way, the pretty scenery will surely leave you speechless. You'd be able to feel the serenity kicking in immediately as you drift the limestone island seas of the Gulf of Tonkin. Pass through hidden lagoons, thick forests & dreamy grottos, & stop to explore the Sung Sot Caves. In the evening, you can enjoy the fresh seafood dinner as you admire the magnificent sunset view. Overnight in Halong Bay.

After enjoying the early morning breakfast, today you can go for a cave swim. It is a leisurely day as you'll be getting back to Hanoi. So, make the most of your time on the junk boat & kayak your way around Halong Bay. After heading back to Hanoi, you can enjoy the final night together with your companion on tour. This is your departure day. You'll have one final breakfast in the country and head toward the airport for your departure.
