This vast park, with its few camps, offers visitors an uncrowded glimpse of untouched Africa, with its huge diversity of game, birds and landscapes. It's an area known for its incredible animal sightings, including large herds of elephant and plenty of predators
Ruaha is well known for its varied dramatic scenery, which includes rolling hills; large open plains; groves of skeletal baobabs and along its southern border, the Great Ruaha River, from which the park gets its name. This is by far the most dominant geographical feature of the national park and, for the wildlife it is the most important. Ruaha has a hot, dry climate which means the animals don’t tend to stray too far from dependable water sources. This makes predicating game movements far easier particularly in the dry season.
ITINERARY
Early morning pick up at 5:00am. Drive to Ruaha National Park for 10 hours with a view of a great Tanzania Landscape through three regions of Coast, Morogoro and finally Iringa. On Arrival, check in at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.
Early morning breakfast at 6am. At 6:30 am, drive to the park for check in then have a full day game drive . Break for lunch at 1pm at the park picnic site. After Lunch Continue with game drive till 6:30pm; thereafter, check out and drive back to the Lodge
Early morning at 5:45am, drive to the park entry gate with your packed breakfast. Today, you will explore the park by nature walk for 3 hours with our Guide and two armed park rangers to ensure your safety. Breakfast will be enjoyed at the end of the trail and then a continuation of game drive until sunset before coming back for dinner and overnight to the Lodge.
Early morning breakfast at 6am. At 7 am, drive back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped at the Hotel, or Airport.
