Tour Highlights

Our 3 Days Snoop Safari to Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater allow you to experience the highlights of the northern Tanzania in a very short time. This plan is tailored mainly for those who are looking for a short Safari but have a limited time. Snooping in a great variety of wildlife.

Tour Introduction

Ngorongoro Crater Safari Tours & Holidays A Ngorongoro Crater tour is usually combined with a safari in neighboring Serengeti National Park. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area protects the volcanically formed Crater Highlands, which are dotted with deep volcanic craters of which the best known, Ngorongoro, is the world’s largest intact caldera and a natural wildlife reserve with few peers. Ngorongoro safari tours offer your best chance in Tanzania of spotting all the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino) in one game drive. The crater is also notable for the spectacular scenic combination of the verdant plains of the lake-studded crater floor and imposing 600m-/1,968ft-high cliffs that enclose it on all sides.

ITINERARY

Depart Arusha town at 7:30 am with your lunch boxes to Tarangire Park for game drive. Picnic lunch in the park. Tarangire is famous for its herds of Elephants and ancient Baobab trees. This park is also well known for its high concentration of game and fantastic bird life. Other animals to be spotted include leopards, giraffes, zebras, lions, etc. Proceed with the game drive until evening then drive to karatu for dinner and overnight at Jambo Campsite and Lodge

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro and descend into 600 meters of Ngorongoro Crater floor to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. Late afternoon drive to Jambo Campsite and Lodge for overnight.

After breakfast, you will travel to the Lake Manyara National Park. The park is known for its over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests, and grassy plains. A large area of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara, the seasonal breeding grounds for large colonies of flamingos, and many more waterfowls. The park is also home to giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas, and groups of noisy monkeys and baboons. After an extensive game drive, we will drive you to Kilimanjaro airport via Arusha. End of the tour.
