ITINERARY

Travel Duration 3 hrs “Ayubowan” On arrival at the recently refurbished Modern and State of the art International Airport, you will be blessed to get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality, Representative will welcome you at Colombo and Transfer to Sigiriya.On the way to Sigiriya first we stop for seen the elephant gathering in Pinnawala.  Visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is the home for young Elephants who have been displaced or lost from their natural habitat, located at Pinnawala village in Sabaragamuwa province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is the best place for an up close and personal experience with the world’s largest land mammals! After visit pinnawala we are heading to sigiriya on the way we visit the Dambulla Cave Rock Temple which lies atop a massive hill on the edge of the town. It is one of the eight UNESCO world heritage sites in the country. Dambulla Cave Temple Enter the historic caves of the Golden Temple of Dambulla, dating back to the 1st century BC. View the ancient murals depicting the life story of Lord Gautama Buddha. Look at the hundreds of figurines of Buddha and other deities scattered throughout the five main caves. Visit the Cave of the Divine King, Cave of the Great King and the Great New Monastery. See the giant golden Buddha Statue just a little distance outside the cave complex. After finish visiting the Dambulla temple we are about to reach to sigiriya before sunset and today last programme is visiting the sigiriya lion rock fortress.Also visit Water Garden, Frescoes, Mirror Wall, and Lions Paw at Sigiriya. After getting the morning breakfast on day 2, you will be transferred to Kandy, on the way to kandy we are stop to Visit a spice garden in Matale to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. Just 25 km from the hill capital of Kandy, the Matale spice gardens are among the best on the island. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. A processing and training unit has been set up in the area and farmers are grouped in a cooperative to ensure fair prices and you will also be able to purchase spices. Then we are heading to kandy the last capital of the ancient Sri Lankan kings. You will head to the sacred Buddhist place, the Temple of Tooth, locally known as Dalada Maligawa.  Visit Kandy temple of the tooth Relic Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Walk through the beautifully embellished passageways and elaborately painted halls, done in red, cream and black. Lounge against delicately carved pillars and get amazed by the beautiful golden statues. Travel Duration 03 Hrs After getting the breakfast from the hotel proceed to Nuwaraeliya. En route Nuwara Eliya, you can be witness by seen a Finest Ceylon Tea Plantation Field & Factory Visit. Finish with a tea tasting process and learn of the history, and why Ceylon Tea is considered among the best in the world. Nuwara Eliya, meaning “city on the plain (table land)” or “city of light”, is a town in the central highlands of Sri Lanka with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. Nuwara Eliya’s climate lent itself to becoming the prime sanctuary of the British civil servants and planters in Ceylon. Nuwara Eliya, called Little England then, was also a hill country retreat where the British colonialists could immerse in their pastimes such as fox hunting. Explore the Beautiful City The highland city that was the premium holiday resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking through the streets with their pretty little cottages, quaint villas, and beautiful mansions. Make a memory in the old red-bricked post office as you purchase an inexpensive and colorful postcard to take home or send to your friends. Early morning by 2 am start the hike to Adam’s Peak.The season starts from December, January to March period is particularly busy time to climb. Other months see less traffic, and therefore the many stalls lining the path are not open during the “low” season. So bringing food and especially water is important. Many people attempt the ascent in the early hours of the morning, with the goal of seeing the sunrise, others climb in the afternoon to see the sundown. In either cases, torches are needed to see at night, even with full moon. Travelling in groups is always advisable. Adam’s Peak This solitary mountain with its landmark pyramid shape rises impressively to a height of 2,243 m (7,359 ft) offering at its peak an unrestricted panoramic view of the world below mist covered mountain peaks, the far way ocean and rivers that look like silver streaks as they spread out to all eternity.Ascending the mountain typically starts at night trek up 5500 stone steps to the mist covered peak in time to witness a truly marvelous sunrise when the sky is set ablaze. Watch the sacred mountain awaken to the tolling of temple bells, beating of drums and blowing of conch-shells be inspired this is a once-in-a-life-time moment. Descending the mountain in daylight promises an exciting eco-expedition. This peak wilderness sanctuary is a tropical rain forest bursting with a rich biodiversity of endemic wildlife. Reach the foothill after the hike and refresh at the Hotel. Transfer to Ella – 5 hours drive approximately

After finishing the breakfast, you will be heading towards the beautiful city of Ella. You will be visiting the Ravana Ella caves and many more places as well. This city has great historical importance; this is the place where Ramayana’s Ravana brought Sita to hide her. Ella has beautiful meadows, hills, and gardens making it a fantastic picturesque destination. Ella - Paradise with beauty Ella is a small village in the highlands of Sri Lanka which is filled with tea estates, mountains, waterfalls and of course with some good air to breath.Lots of people make Ella as one of their must visit destination just to witness the breathtaking views it creates. It is a dream place for many trekkers with some of the best hikes the Island provides. This hidden village got vastly popular among the tourists lately.Views of mist and clouds covering the summits of the mountain range and the morning sun rise in Ella are spectacular scenes to witness and captured. After Breakfast at the hotel transfer to Tissamaharama . Buduruwagala – The Rock of Sculptures (optional) Buduruwagala means “rock of Buddhist sculptures” and is aptly named as there are seven figures carved on the rock. The largest of these is a Buddha statue standing at an impressive 51 feet in a stance known as the “Abhaya Mudra”. The rock on which these images have been carved has an interesting shape – almost like a kneeling Elephant with its head bent towards the earth and is about 300 feet wide and 7 feet high. Afterwards we directly proceed Tissamaharama to enjoy the evening jeep safari in Yala National Park. Yala National Park. This amazing three-hour Safari offers the opportunity to visit Yala National Park, the second largest in the island based off the Southeastern coast of Sri Lanka. Get a chance to see the famous Sri Lankan leopards, indigenous wild water buffalo, Sri Lankan Sloth Bear and large herds of Sri Lankan Elephants. This park is famous for its elephants seen in all their playfulness, whole herds of them bathing and playing in the water while feeding their babies. BENTOTA After breakfast at the hotel you can engange with the follwing activities, Go on a boat ride in Madu Ganga Go on a wonderful two-hour boat ride down the Madu River with its flourishing ecosystem. Pass through the secretive passages created by the mangroves. See the basking crocodiles and water monitors. Visit one of the small islands with its cinnamon harvesting natives. Enjoy the restorative qualities of the famous fish massage. Observe the waterbirds in their natural habitats. b) Cancellation by Client (You) You may cancel your booking by notifying the Tour Consultant.
