Day Serengeti and Ngorongoro Camping Safari

Around 6 am, depart from Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro entrance gate. After gate formalities, start your drive towards central Serengeti (Seronera). Enjoy wildlife viewing along the way. In the afternoon, arrive to Naabi gate and enter Serengeti. Seronera Valley supports a much greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti. Resident prey attracts the highest concentration of large predators in Africa (lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah). More game drive en route for dinner and overnight stay at public campsite.

Sunrise game drive in Serengeti. Return to your accommodation for breakfast. After breakfast start your drive towards Ngorongoro CA with game viewing on the way. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful surroundings of the park. More game drive as you drive for your dinner and overnight stay at Simba public campsite.

Around 6am, after breakfast, descend the Ngorongoro Crater which is about 2000 feet deep and 14 miles wide. We will spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater which is a World Heritage Site, home to nearly 25,000 animals, giving you a very real chance of spotting the Big5 namely lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. Lunch by the hippo pool picnic site at the crater floor. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha.
