This is a fully escorted tour and includes everything including your private transport for a coupe, a highly knowledgeable English-speaking guide, accommodation in homestays/boutique hotels, all meals, all walks, and a toy train ride. This tour is a blend of culture, language, religion, attire, and much more. Starting from the base of the foothills of Himalaya in Amritsar - the home of Golden Temple, it enters the hills and takes a half-moon circle to take you to the colonial capital of India. When the plains in India are burning at the temperature of 47 degrees, the Hill Stations are coolly pleasant. The best way to see the hills and Himalayan peaks is to walk to the remote destinations and return by the evening to your domain. We organize this tour around the year. August and September are rainy months in India, and due to heavy monsoons, there may be some hindrances in the journey. this tour cannot be operated. In case you are coming in post-monsoon time (October – November) please bring warm clothes with you as some of the areas can be cold enough to demand fleece jackets. In the end, we take a fascinating toy train from Shimla for a two-hour journey before we drive down to Chandigarh where the tour ends.
Overnight Stay: Hotel/Homestay You need to arrive at Amritsar airport/railway station. Our driver and your Tour Guide cum Escort will meet you there. From here you will drive to your hotel. After check-into the hotel, let us drive to the border of Indian and Pakistan where the retreat ceremony is performed every evening. Wagha border is the name of the place that forms the border between two countries. Return by the evening and relax. After dinner, we have a plan to take you to the Golden Temple to see the closing ceremony of the Holy Book.
