ITINERARY

After an early breakfast, at around 8 am, the driver/guide will drive in at your hotel in Kampala to pick you up for the trip. He will brief you on the nitty-gritty of the trip before you hit the road. This is a 10 Days Uganda Safari so you better brace yourself for a magical experience. Drive from Kampala in the morning with your guide to Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest park and home to 451 bird species and 76 mammal species. Your eyes will be fed with lots of sightings along the way as you will enjoy a bottle of drinking water. Great news for your Cameras Have a number of stopovers like for example, a Rhino sanctuary on your way to take pictures of the statues of rhinos mounted on the entrance to the sanctuary. There is an optional visiting the sanctuary to see the rhinos. The next stop is in Masindi, for lunch and the next is at the top of the falls which is a 2hrs drive from Masindi town. There is nothing as thrilling as watching the river Nile make its way 8 meters’ crevice and dropping nearly 45 meters below as it continues with its course. Due to the great ground, here is actually shaking; this is very impressive as a rainbow is also found. This is the crucial day of the stay at the deeper parts of the park. You will have a hasty breakfast and set out for a game drive as early as possible. This will help you to have a glance at most animals before they run away from the punishing sun. The tour guide will lead you to the finest place to easily sport the animals. Your eyes will be on the look for any sightings at this point. You will certainly enjoy Uganda’s true wilderness experience as you will be taking pictures of this unforgettable Uganda Safari. On the boat, you will have 2-3 hrs. of an experience across the river Nile to the source/bottom of the waterfalls. You will also have a chance to spot some animals like crocodiles, elephants, a large number of Hippos, buffalos, waterbucks, and also birds such as storks, fish eagle other interesting things that will provide. While at the bottom of the falls, you will have a great time watching the magnificent waterfalls. Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge and drive to Kibale Forest; you will take pleasure in the gorgeous scenery of this countryside which makes the journey more exciting. Have our lunch stop en route at Fort portal town and continue as you will have a great time viewing the scenes of Rwenzori ranges. Check-in at your lodge on arrival You could go for a guided nature walk In Bigodi wetland which is home to various birds and primates species. On this day, you will have to wake up extra early morning for breakfast. After a hasty breakfast, you will head to the park briefing center, where you will be briefed professional parker ranger and later set for Chimpanzee trekking in the forest. Kibale forest is among the charming places well-known for different primates and several crater lakes within Uganda In the morning you will see the chimps in their natural environment. These chimps are also exciting and this very close encounter will reward you with a memorable experience on this trip. After lunch, you will drive to the Mwea Peninsula in Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will arrive in the late afternoon. You will check in and have some time to rest as you wait for your dinner and rest. After an early breakfast, there again you hit the road for another yet exciting game drive through the Kasenyi track and other tracks where you have a chance to see different wildlife species like; lions, Elephants, antelopes, buffalos, waterbucks, on the lucky day Leopards can be seen together with amazing beautiful bird species. Queen Elizabeth has a diversity of Uganda’s ecosystem such as the savannah, wetlands, lakes, forests, and over 600 bird species that live in the park With this, its scenery is spectacular with crater lakes like Nyamunuka and various shrubs and forests. Later head back to the lodge for lunch and relax. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel. This is one experience to reminiscence. Take pleasure in observing different water birds together with their echoing sweet sounds and animal such as hippos, African crocodiles, waterbucks, buffalos, elephants among others. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector as you will have a chance to observe tree-climbing lions in the wild. Bwindi National Park is home to over 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, 27 frog species among others. It covers an area of 331 sq Km. have lunch en route and continue with your journey combined with amazing and spectacular views of banana, tea plantations, and overall green vegetation not forgetting the terrain of the land in the rift valley. On reaching the park, check-in at the lodge. After a hasty cup of tea, head to the park head offices, with your guide, have a briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the Park with the Gorillas. After heading for gorilla through the mist rain forest, trekking can take the least 2hrs. or up to 6hrs. and this is based on the location of the gentle giants. Only an hour is permitted to trekkers while with Gorillas up close. Make sure that you carry a picnic lunch, enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, rain jackets, walking sticks for those who are not so fit Later return to the lodge and relax. Depending on the time you took to trek the gorillas, you can decide to stretch a little within your accommodation vicinity. In the evening, go for a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for many, enjoy traditional dances from them. After breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. This is approximately 6 to 7 hours’ drive. You will go through the outstanding scenery in Kibale which is a combination of terraced hills, forests, banana plantations among many other sightings. Have lunch in Mbarara en route to Lake Mburo, which is home to 332 bird species, sitting on an area of 371 sq Km. As you drive through the park, you will have a chance to spot animals like zebra, impalas, warthogs, topis, waterbucks, buffalos, and red bucks among others. Upon arrival, you will have a boat cruise on the lake where eyes will be able to sight lots of wonders like birds, crocodiles, hippos, zebras among others.
