Introduction Arusha National Park is one of the smaller parks of Tanzania and is a popular destination for day trips due to its proximity to Moshi and Arusha. Despite its size, the park offers a spectacular landscape and a diverse wildlife population. Arusha National Park includes the slopes, summit, and ash cone of Mount Meru, the second highest peak in Tanzania, which is 4566 m above sea level; also there are other various physical features. Location Arusha National Park is located in Arusha City actually it is the closest national park to Arusha City. It is 80km from Moshi Urban which is a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Moshi town. Arusha National Park covers 137km2 Attractions Arusha National Park has a vast of attractions within it, which include wildlife, animals, and plant species, Mount Meru, Momela lakes which are sites for flamingos, various water streams running within the park, and Ngurudoto crater. Also, the plains which are known as ‘Small Serengeti’ within Arusha National Park are one of the astonishing attractions Activities In Arusha National Park the following activities will be conducted; Game viewing, bird watching, and walking safaris. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its diverse scenery with nine distinct vegetation zones. The landscape is abounding in Ancient Baobabs, making you feel belittled when staying next to them. And the river is full of wildlife, allowing you to spot the Big 5! It is also in Tarangire NP you can find the highest concentration of elephants in the whole country. You will have the opportunity to observe their behaviors and interactions between families. The lunch area is captivating, having an observatory with amazing views over the river and its wildlife. In the afternoon, you will do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

Wake up very early, just before dawn, for a truly special day. You'll follow your guide until he encounters the Hadzabe, one of the few genuine nomadic tribes in Africa. After being briefed about the tribe, you will accompany them in their daily morning activities. This activity is out of the beaten track - unlike others, it does not feel touristic at all, being one of the highlights of your safari. You can either join the men in their daily hunting or the women in a session of fruit-gathering. In both of them, you will learn about the Hadzabe way of living. Afterward, you visit the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow salt lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast and start your full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. This park is home to the Great Migration, when over 1.5 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes start their ever-moving journey. And with such a large number of animals, it's only expected to observe many big cats and other large predators, attracted to their prey. So take this opportunity to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many other smaller animals reside here too, not to mention over 500 species of birds. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast and start your full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. This day is planned according to your wishes and preferences. Each day of the safari will be discussed with you, in order to analyze the most suitable schedules, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For instance, you could opt for a morning game drive, returning to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, finishing with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the crater floor for a fabulous morning of wildlife in one of the most fascinating places on Earth. You'll have your picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake, followed by a short game drive. You'll exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area and leave towards Arusha in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you will take a picnic lunch with you as you continue to the Serengeti, a drive of around 4 ½ hours through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your journey will take you to the Olduvai Gorge the paleoanthropological site in the eastern Serengeti Plain within the boundaries of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where the Leakey’s discovered the earliest evidence of the existence of human ancestors including hominoid remains of a 1.8 million-year-old skeleton of Australopithecus boisei, one of the distinct links of the human evolutionary chain, It is 30 miles from Laetoli which is another fossil-rich area. Olduvai is the first place where traces of an early stone tool culture were discovered and also one of the first sites in Africa where the earliest Acheulean was first discovered. After a trip to this historical site, you will then continue into the Serengeti. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight

Enjoy your early morning breakfast before leaving for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is truly breathtaking, with its luscious acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees. Here you can find plenty of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes. The lake is also the habitat for lots of hippos! The most distinctive characteristics of this national park are the tree-climbing lions, flamingos in the lakeshore, as well as the Ground Hornbill and the Crested Eagle. You will have many photo opportunities, as its landscapes are indescribable and with abundant wildlife. We recommend some extra activities, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Covid Safety

Our approach to COVID-19.

With the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we understand the concerns in planning travel right now. We’re aware of the current uncertainty we face in regards to the virus and would like to reassure you that we at Taste of Kilimanjaro Adventures remain up to date and will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds. With the ever-changing circumstances, our focus is on the safety of our guests, both current and future.

When You Land In Africa

As with all our tours, we will meet your arriving flight at the airport. Instead of shaking hands, our vaccinated guides and support staff will greet you from a distance and with a mask on. Our mountain and safari guides are trained on Covid-19 safety protocols.

Your dedicated guide will accompany you for the duration of your adventure, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to every step of the way. Should you have any concerns at any point during your trip, your safari or mountain guide will be your main point of contact.

Covid-19 Testing Facilities

Many airlines and countries now require Covid-19 tests before flying home. Testing facilities are operational throughout East Africa, and our ground team will help you navigate the test process and assist with getting test results. In some cases, we can also arrange for a test practitioner to come to your hotel, thus avoiding a trip to a testing facility. The cost to facilitate and procure each Covid test varies ($50 - $100) and results are received within 24 hours.
