Wildlife/beach safari

In the morning, visit David sheldrick elephant orphanage and Giraffe center. Break for lunch then visit the National Museum of Kenya and snake park. After city tour, drive back to the concrod hotel for dinner and sleep over. Transfer using a safari Land cruiser jeep.

Depart Nairobi early morning and drive to Samburu. Check in Samburu Simba lodge, eat lunch then head out for an afternoon game drive and swimming in Buffalo springs, a natural spring in the National rserve. After afternoon game drive, head back to the hotel for dinner and sleep over. Drive from Nairobi to samburu takes 5 hours with stop overs in between.

Depart 0630hrs in the morning and visit Reteti Elephant Sanctuary. Elephant calves in Northern Kenya are orphaned or abandoned due to drought, man-made wells, human-wildlife conflict and natural mortality. The Sanctuary was established in response to demands from the local community. Eat breakfast then drive to Archer’s post to visit the cultural communities living in Samburu and experience their cultural values, interact with them then drive back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, do an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve then back to hotel for dinner and sleep over.

Depart Samburu 1000 hrs after breakfast and drive to Nanyuki, Serena sweetwaters in Ol Pejeta conservancy which is one of the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and only home to chimpanzees and the last remaining 2 Northern white rhinos in the whole World. Check in for lunch then do an afternoon game drive then back to camp for dinner and sleep over. Drive from Samburu to Nanyuki takes 2 and half hour with a stop over.

Early morning game drive in a different section of the conservancy for 3 hours then back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast visit to the chimpanzee Sanctuary, feed Baraka the blind black rhino then back to camp for lunch and relaxing. Set out for a late afternoon game drive then back to camp for dinner and sleep over.

Depart serena sweetwaters at 0900 hrs after breakfast and drive to Naivasha via Nyahururu. Eat lunch in Panari hotel in Nyahururu then proceed to Naivasha. Check in Simba lodge Naivasha and if there’s ample time, do a boat ride and experience the dwellers of the Lake: Hippos and wetland birds. Drive takes 4 hours from Nanyuki to Naivasha.

Depart Naivasha around 0900 after breakfast and drive to Maasai Mara. Check in Mara samba lodge for lunch then head out for an afternoon game drive. After game drive, head back to the camp for dinner and sleep over. Drive takes 4 and half hours from Naivasha to Maasai mara with stop overs.

After morning game drive, go back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, visit the maasai cultural center, interact as you experience their cultural values then back to camp for lunch. After lunch, set out for an afternoon game drive in a different section of the reserve.

Depart maasai Mara by flight and arrive in Ukunda Diani airstrip. Pick up and drop off Diani Reef beahc resort. check in and relax.

After breakfast, depart to Kisite Mpunguti marine reserve for snorkelling, boat ride, viewing of dolphins and (optional SCUBA diving). Aftyer activities, drive back to Diani reef beach resort, relax packing and preparing for flight depature on day 11.
