The main activity in Volcanoes National Park is gorilla trekking in the magnificent Virungas mountain range. We provide you with highly trained guides and expert trackers who will lead you in the tracking of the amazing endangered species, mountain gorillas, in their natural habitat. You get to visit the twelve gorilla families fully habituated with a few of them being habituated purposely for scientific research. Each family consisted of several females, some youngsters, and at least one silverback. These unique encounters with gorillas as they go about their day-to-day life is life-changing. Apart from mountain gorillas, the park also has golden monkey trekking and bird watching, the park hosts various bird species.
You can also engage in fun activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing in this park. Excursions to lakes Burera and Ruhondo in the park give you a chance to interact with the local communities around the park and get to learn about their culture and their day-to-day activities on a typical day. You can also dine and wine in the beautiful and lavish lodges present in the park.

ITINERARY
Arrival at the Airport, welcomed by your driver-guide, and transfer to the booked accommodation. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel.
Transfer to Musanze with a visit to the Ikirenge Cultural Village and Nature Walk at the Buhanga Eco Park. Meals and Overnight at your Hotel.

Morning breakfast and go for Golden Monkeys trek. Afterward, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village and return back to your Hotel.
Morning breakfast at 7:20 am and transfer to Karongi at 8:20 am for a two and half hours drive. Arrive there, and make a visit to the Environmental Museum in Karongi. Have Lunch at your Hotel. Afterward, go for the afternoon boat cruise and hike to the Napoleon and Monkey islands. Afterward, transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight there, experience fishing during the evening.
Morning breakfast and transfer to Nyungwe National Park. On arrival there, you will proceed for a Canopy adventure and Colobus Monkeys experience. Meals and Overnight at One and Only Nyungwe House.
Early Morning breakfast and go for Chimpanzees Tracking, go for lunch and transfer to Kigali by Helicopter and Proceed to Akagera National Park for a 2 Hours scenic Helicopter tour. Dinner and Overnight at the Marriot Hotel-Kigali.
