Tour Introduction

Private Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek trail that thousands of travelers embark on every year with the hope of being beneath the World's tallest mountain Mount Everest. Traversing through numerous traditional Sherpa villages, rivers, Lush green forests, suspension bridges & waterfalls, the journey eventually guides you to the base camp, situated at an elevation of 5364 m. You get to witness the majestic sights of some of the tallest peaks like; Mount Everest (8,848.86m) along with the fourth & fifth highest peaks i.e. Mt.Lhotse (8,516 m) & Mt.Makalu (8,481 m) from Kala Patthar, which is the highest point of your trek situated at an elevation of 5,643 m. The 11 days Private Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek is filled with the varied side of nature and culture as you'll be walking in the trail inside the Sagarmatha National park, where you'll get to witness some rare flora and fauna. Furthermore, get close to the ancient culture and lifestyle of the renowned Sherpa communities as you pass by several local villages on the way. You'll also come across ancient Buddhist monasteries and Gompas during the trek that reflects the unique traditions of the locales. This is a Luxury journey that offers you an opportunity to explore the Khumbu region and stand on the base of Mount Everest while witnessing some of the best sceneries of the Himalayas in just 11 days. Starting and ending with a flight to and from Lukla, the trek takes you through villages like; Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Pheriche, along with the highlights of the trek, Everest Base camp, and the highest vantage point of the region, Kala Patthar.

ITINERARY

The trek begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which takes around 45 minutes, taking you above the diverse landscape, tiny settlements, and the Himalayas. Once you land in Lukla, your walking journey begins as you ascend toward Phakding. Following the path alongside the Dudhkoshi River, you'll cross a few suspension bridges on the way, until you make it to Phakding. Overnight stay in Phakding.

Today the walk takes you to one of the biggest and most commercial towns of the region, Namche Bazaar. You'll start strolling toward Namche Bazar, beginning with a walk alongside the stream over the suspension bridge. The path then takes you through forests until you arrive in Monjo after a walk of around 2 hours. Here, you'll go through the checking as you'll be entering the Sagarmatha National park. Continuing your walk, you'll go through a couple of downhills, and then finally show up at Namche Bazar after a hike of around 5-6 hours. After arriving in Namche Bazaar, you can spend the rest of your time exploring the town as there are quite a lot of things to explore. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

The trek continues today as you move toward Tengboche from Namche Bazar. The walk first begins with a simple path leading you to Phunki Thanga. Moving further ahead, you'll ascend to Tengboche with a difficult uphill climb. On the way, today you get to savor some stunning perspectives on the mountains like; Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and so forth. After a long walk of around 6-7 hours, you'll finally show up at Tengboche, a small town home to the biggest monastery in the Everest area. Overnight stay in Tengboche.

It is another day of walking, heading toward Dingboche from Tengboche. Beginning with a walk on a forested path through rhododendron trees, you'll cross a few bridges over the Imja Khola. The path further takes you to Pangboche town, one of the greatest Sherpa settlements in the locale. From Pangboche, the path goes on as you witness the Mountain View getting more and more clear. It requires around 6-7 hours of walking through forests and close-by streams as you ascend and descend until you show up in Dingboche. Overnight stay in Dingboche.

Today is a day separated for rest and acclimatization in Dingboche, as it is crucial to give your body time to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. On this day, you have two choices that are you can either explore the village of Dingboche as you interact with the locals and learn about their lifestyle or you can choose to climb to Chukkung or Nangkartshang tops.

It is going to be a day of long walks today as you trace your steps toward Dingboche from Lobuche. The trail takes you through several villages and icy streams as you relish the splendid views of surrounding mountains like Lhotse, Amadablam, and Amphu Labsa. After crossing several villages, you'll have to walk for a few more hours until you finally arrive at Lobuche. The hike includes a few steep uphill climbs as the Lobuche village is situated at a high altitude above 4500 m. Overnight stay in Lobuche.

Today is a big day for you. You'll mark your way to the base of the World's tallest mountain, Mount Everest. The walk begins with a rough path as you relish the view of Everest and other mountains like; Pumori, Mahalangur, Khumbutse, and Nuptse. As you continue walking further, you'll get close to the Khumbu Glacial mass and arrive in Gorakshep. Followed by a quick break in Gorakshep, the excursion further proceeds to Everest base camp. The base camp offers you a 360-degree perspective on snow-shrouded mountains all around, including the tallest peak, Everest. You'll get to spend some time amongst the mountains savoring the sceneries, and then descend back to Gorakshep for the night's stay. Overnight stay in Gorakshep.

Today you'll climb to the most elevated viewpoint of the region, Kala Patthar. Beginning with a stroll while relishing astonishing views of sparkling Everest, you'll follow your move toward Kalapatthar from Gorakshep. Situated at an elevation of 5550m, you can catch the wide vistas of Mt. Everest, Mt. Changtse, Mt. Khumbutse, and many more from Kala Patthar. From Kala Patthar, the excursion further goes down to Gorakshep and afterward to Pheriche. Pushing forward, you'll follow the path close to the river through the woodlands and slopes. Following a couple more hours of walking, you'll arrive at Pheriche, where you'll be spending the night. Overnight stay in Pheriche.

It is a day to descend to Namche Bazaar from Pheriche. It takes a walk of around 5-6 hours for you to arrive at Namche Bazaar from Pheriche. Taking you through a trail filled with greenery and tree lines, the walk today can be regarded as a pleasant hike. Overnight stay in Namche Bazar.

The trip today starts with an easy walk crossing a few engineered overpasses over the streaming Dudh Koshi waterway. Strolling on a forested path as you partake in the mountain perspectives and peaceful environment, you'll go through several sherpa towns en route before showing up in Lukla. Overnight stay in Lukla.

At long last, today you'll return to the city after more than a week of exploring the Himalayas. You'll have a short flight of around 45 minutes back to Kathmandu. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you can either take a rest or go out shopping as you explore the city. Overnight stay in Kathmandu and transfer to the airport for your departure.
